I, Jennifer Dixon, founded JD Consulting LLC in 2010. For over 10 years, I have been working for national companies managing their marketing projects. The areas I enjoy the most are Web Marketing and Web Design and now I would like to help other small businesses accomplish their marketing goals. I most recently worked for DocuSys, an anesthesia software provider, for the past seven years where I had the opportunity to manage a wide range of marketing projects from coordinating tradeshows/events to designing Web sites. I was fortunate to have great mentors and resources who I worked for and with during my marketing career.
In 1994, I received my B.A. from the University of South Alabama in Public Relations and Marketing. I started my career as a technical writer and two years later began working in marketing. At that time, I realized marketing was the only career for me. I love technology and the challenge of learning new software, which led to my pursuant of learning how to develop and design Web sites. I am now able to combine my creative marketing side with my technical geeky side and I couldn't be happier. I am based in the Daphne/Mobile Alabama area, but thanks to technology I can assist businesses anyway in the United States. Because of my strong interest in Web marketing and PR, I am constantly reading and educating myself on better ways to utilize virtual marketing, social media, PR, blogs and more to reach buyers directly. This can be a challenge for small business owners because they are responsible for so many aspects of their business and usually marketing receives the least amount of attention. This is what led to my idea of creating a company that provides small businesses with the same level of marketing support that I gave to my former employers. In most cases, small businesses do not have enough marketing projects to justify a full-time marketing position and if they hire a marketing/PR firm they will usually be required to pay a monthly retainer and may even be assigned a recently graduated college student with little experience. The benefit to hiring a virtual marketing assistant is you only pay for the hours spent working on your project and you don’t have all the additional costs associated with hiring an additional employee. If my clients are not satisfied with the marketing services they receive, then they are not required to pay for it. My number one objective is to provide excellent service and to exceed my client’s expectations. Thank you for your taking the time to read about our services. Please consider partnering with me and together we will take your business to the next level. Please visit the contact page to request more information or to schedule a FREE introductory call.
